- JOB FUNCTION
- To value property for clients (usually other Government Departments or Ministries/Portfolios) including the carrying out of negotiations pertaining to acquisitions and compensation claims.
- To make assessments for Stamp Duty purposes and to maintain appropriate valuation listing in accordance with the provisions of established Acts.
- To assist with the processing of Aliens Land Holding Licence

- KEY DUTIES
- To value property for clients (usually other Government Departments or Ministries/Portfolios) including the carrying out of negotiations pertaining to acquisitions and compensation claims.
- To make assessments for Stamp Duty purposes.
- Process Licences and Leasehold applications for lease of Crown Lands.
- Process and review Aliens Land Holding Licence Applications.
- Process Probates for grants of Letters of Administration.
- Coordinate with Inland Revenue Department on the maintenance of the Property Tax database.
- Respond to queries in relation to Property Values, Property Tax and Aliens Land Holding Licences.
- Liaise with other sections of the Department, other Government Departments and Ministries.
JOB TITLE: Valuation Officer

- Maintain database for property values, leases for Crown and Private, licences, Condominiums and Alien Land Holding Licences.
- Prepare reports as directed
- Complies reports on findings and makes recommendations, where necessary.
- Visit sites for Stamp Duty, Property Tax and inspection of properties under Aliens Land Holding Licences and in some occasions in collaboration with Inland Revenue for compliance.
