Applications are invited from suitably qualified and motivated persons for the post of Cashier within the Customs Department.
The successful applicant will play an important role in supporting the efficient collection, receipting, recording and safeguarding of Government revenue. The post requires the accurate and professional processing of payments, together with related clerical duties, in accordance with the Financial Instructions, the Financial Administration and Audit Act, General Orders, and established departmental procedures.
Applicants should possess strong numeracy skills, attention to detail, integrity, confidentiality, reliability, and a courteous approach to public service. While previous cashiering or cash-handling experience would be an asset, training will be provided to support the successful applicant in carrying out the duties of the post effectively.
