The Comptroller of Customs is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and administration of the Department, including customs revenue collection, compliance, enforcement, trade facilitation, border protection, staff management, and departmental modernisation. This is a senior leadership role requiring strong judgement, integrity, sound management capability, professionalism, and confidence, while strengthening compliance, improving service delivery, supporting legitimate trade, and fostering a high-performance culture across the Department.
